Aquamid is  97.5% Water and 2.5% cross linked polyacrylamide which is injected subdermally using a linear technique. Aquamid works in harmony with the surrounding tissue to become a homogenous hydrogel, allowing 1:1 continuous exchange of fluids.  This means that there is NO fibrous tissue hardening nodules, granulomas or extreme foreign body reaction. Instant volume is achieved and Aquamid and it becomes intimately integrated within the tissue via a network of fine network to ensure a long lasting natural look.
